#40: The Blind Date, Part 4

This is a new one – I legit forgot that I had a webcomic for nearly two full days. Mentally speaking, that’s probably not a good sign.
Comic updates again on Tuesday as per usual. Here’s to hoping I remember shoes and pants next I leave the house!
I figured I’d wait for an explanation before I panicked.
And, no, Vlad, I’m sorry, but you’re not going to get lucky tonight. Or any night, probably.
No worries.
We all forget stuff sometimes.
And it’s not as if you’re currently drawing this, and just forgot to upload.
You’re busy leading a life, and the webcomic updating currently is a rather minor side task.
I appreciate that you uploaded it as soon as you remembered, and that you did not simply skip one week and thus stretched your stock of available content by one week.
Which would have been perfectly with me too.
And I agree with Ace Lightning, it is unlikely that you’ll get lucky, Vlad.
And I stay with my previous impression, that your mother’s cousin got away very cheap for your date.
But if her family is already willing to spend that much to connect you, how much would your mom spend?
(Oh, and I think Abra is far too polite to want to do this conversation from the bathroom. I think, Vlad fully deserves hearing every word of complaint while at the table. And that he deserves every shaming look from the other guests in the restaurant.
Vlad, use your own brain cells to think about her, instead of doing things some cousin or other told you to do! The result will certainly not be worse, and you might even positively surprise someone that way.)
