Sarah Ex Machina, as it were. She may be unreliable, but at least she won’t comes through in the end! Mostly.
This part of the story has no basis in reality. The friends or relatives who roped me into crappy blind dates were in no way skilled enough to rescue me from them!
And Sarah had so much *fun* doing it! π
Oh you bet she did. π
Hi, Audrey! Sorry to have been out of communication for so long, but medical crap will do that to a person. Anyway, I found you again, and binge read “Chat,” and “Sarah and Abra” today. Loved how “Chat” ended, and love how this is going. Oh, and I still have that wonderful drawing you made me. Have bookmarked your site, and look forward to reading more.
Hi, Deb. Welcome back! Sorry about the “medical crap” – hope things have substantially improved, or at least stabilized, and glad the archives have turned out to be a treasure trove for you. π
Hey!
He’s stealing himself out of paying the dinner!
And I find Abra is too kind.
Arah sent her there in the first place.
And Sarah took the meat shop discount….
Well, Abra did not say she’d be cleaning up the dishes, just “no complaints for leaving dishes in the sink”.
That looks like a lot of work once Abra starts complaining to Sarah again. In two weeks time.
You are correct, Vladislav did dine and dash! However, I figure that Abra would call having to pay for an additional cheap dinner, in exchange for never seeing Vlad ever again, “a bargain at twice the price.” π
